These coverage examples are merely illustrations to assist you in understanding your handyman service policy.

Coverage will be determined based on actual terms and conditions in your Handyman Service Plan. During coverage period, Advantage Handyman Service will arrange for an Advantage authorized service contractor to repair or replace the part or component stated as covered in accordance with the terms and conditions of this service agreement.


1. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT: Repair or Replacement of Electrical wall outlets, Interior Light Switches, G.F.C.I. outlets, Breakers, and Fuses confined within the perimeter of the home. 
NOT COVERED: We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.  If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified technicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items. 
2. PLUMBING SYSTEM:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT:  We will repair or replace ***INTERIOR FIXTURES including Leaking Faucets, Leaking Shower Heads, Leaking Toilets and Leaking Sinks located within the perimeter of the home.  We will repair Running Toilets and free Drainage Lines from Trap Sink Clogs within the perimeter of the home.  ***INTERIOR FIXTURES: The ball cock assembly within the toilet to include the flush valve, refill tube, float ball, overflow pipe, tank lever and flapper, toilet bowl wax seal, standard shower valves and diverter for tub or shower, standard bathtub and shower faucets, whirlpool motor, standard sink faucets, angle stops and valves. 
NOT COVERED: We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.    If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified techicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items. 
3. WATER HEATER:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT
Hot Water Heater Adjustments will be made with the authorization of the homeowner as long as the adjustment is within the manufactures recommendations.                  
NOT COVERED:We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.    If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified techicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items. 
4. HVAC SYSTEM:
COVERED SERVICES FOR CLIENT:  We will repair supply connections or “Boots” that have become unattached to supply lines.  We will service these connections from the air handler equipment to the point of the attachments for damage to the insulation around the supply line.  We will repair exterior insulation on the Air Handler Freon supply line.  We will replace damaged supply grills or return air grills.  We do not supply the grills.  We will replace or repair bathroom exhaust fans.  We do not supply the fan or materials.  We will replace Air Return Filters that are in hard to reach areas.  We do not supply the filters.  
NOT COVERED: We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.    If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified technicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items. 
5. THERMAL BARRIER:
COVERED SERVICES FOR CLIENT:  We will adjust exterior doors, door stops, weather stripping, windows, striker plates and locks within the manufacturers allowed recommendations. 
NOT COVERED: We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.    If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified technicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items. 
6. INTERIOR:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT:  We will repair dimples in the drywall surface,  We will repair damages from nail pops and door handles and we will touch up the paint if available from homewoner.  *We will supply drywall screen and compound for these repairs. 
NOT COVERED: We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.  If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified technicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items.
7. SAFETY:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT:  We will replace Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide batteries, we will replace or installs Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detectors.  We will secure loose handrails.  We do not supply materials for repair or replacement.
NOT COVERED: We do not Supply the materials necessary for the repairs.  If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified techicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items.
8. LIGHTING AND FANS:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT:  We will change hard to reach light bulbs.  We will change both interior and exterior lights.  Light bulbs are not included in plan.   We will install ceiling fans but additional charges may occur depending on the connection and the ceiling fan installation.
NOT COVERED: We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.  If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified techicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items.
9. SEASONAL EXTERIOR INSPECTION:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT:  We will inspect and report to client the exterior condition of the home semi-annually.  After the change of season, we inspect for damage and recommend exterior maintenance.  We will recommend services to prepare your home for the winter and summer seasons.  Visual inspection is limited to the exterior perimeter of the home and may include gutters, down spouts, splash blocks or drain lines, roof-mounted installations, leaks in any deck or balcony, leaks which result from persons walking on the roof, failure to perform normal roof maintenance such as keeping valleys clear of debris or trimming back tree limbs, siding, soffit, trim, caulking, weather stripping, decks, driveways, walks and steps. 
NOT COVERED: Acts of God such as fire, severe storms, earthquake and lightning. Improper construction or improper repair. Consequential or secondary damages to attic insulation, ceilings, walls, floor coverings, equipment, or personal property.
10. MISC:
COVERED SERVICE FOR CLIENT:  Advantage will re-light piot lights for fireplaces.  We will also re-light, hot water heaters and appliances. We will remove gront glass of fireplace and clean within the limits of the glass stained by soot and residue from fireplace.  We will caulk and seal tub and shower surrounds.  The surface must be clean and dry before we arrive. **We will supply caulking (limited colors)  We will clean high glass in a home’s foyer or 2 story rooms.  
NOT COVERED:We do not supply the materials necessary for the repairs.    If requested we will provide the materials at our cost of materials and obtaining the materials.  When possible we will perform other repairs with no additional labor cost.  The handyman service plan provides certified techicians for the repair or replacement of non-emergency home breakdown and maintenance items. 
NOTES, COVERAGE, CONTRACT TERM AND CANCELLATION:
1.  During the coverage period, Advantage will arrancy for an Advantage authorized service contractor to repair/replace the item stated as covered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the service plan.
2.  This service plan describes the basic coverage and options available.  Please read contract carefully or contact the Handyman Advantage office nearest you.
3.  The contract term shall start from the day the order was place and accepted and shall run for 12 consecutive months (1 year).  Modification of this date is allowable with acceptance of both parties and signatures respectively on the service plan.
4.  Service calls can be scheduled online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The Handyman Advantage will accept scheduling by phone during normal business hours: M-F  9 to 5.
5.  The contract may be cancelled by the service agreement holder within the first 30 days following the effective date (purchase acceptance date) unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the service contract holder and Advantage.
6.  We will attempt to repair other problems that may occur, but we reserve the right to do so.
7.  When possible, we will perform repairs without an additional labor unit of cost, with the exception of charging for necessary materials.
8.  The service agreement renewal is at the option of Advantage.
9.  The plan is transferable during the service term.
10. The amount of service calls is not limited. Each scheduled service call is $25 and is due at the time of scheduling the appointment.
11. All work is guaranteed by Advantage for 30 days.  No other promises or guarantees have been made other than stated in the preceding service plan.
